Arts in the Square
Frisco Square transforms into an outdoor gallery during Arts in the Square. The Festival will take place March 6-7, 2010, featuring the Arts and Texas-style fun. Activities for children of all ages and live entertainment. Don't miss this opportunity to explore your creative talents.
Arts in the Square is an annual juried show presenting works from the nation's top visual artists. Jurors select 100 artists to exhibit their museum-quality work at the festival. The artists compete in the following categories: 2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Digital, Drawings/Pastels, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metalwork, Painting, Photography, Sculpture and Wood. Artist’s awards include a magazine spread and solo show for the winner. Application is available through ZAPPlication.org only. The deadline is January 15, 2010.
Feast your eyes on incredible art, sit and relax by the Simpson Plaza, listen to local bands and also treat yourself to the food and spirits available in a variety of award-winning restaurants on site. A stroll from the Frisco Library, the Heritage Village and Museum and the SciTech Museum. All of these attributes further set Frisco Square apart. Naturally, there is shopping, too! The Market Place at Frisco Square is home to almost 30 unique boutiques offering something for everyone.

Information for Artists
Frisco Square has a reputation of bringing out the high end buying crowd to each of its events. Every aspect of this event is artist–focused and seeks to provide a venue that enhances your work and simplifies your participation. Jury selection is based upon technique/execution, quality, uniqueness of work, and booth appearance. Amenities include artist awards, hotel discount, free parking, and complimentary coffee in the morning!

Apply for entry to Arts in the Square by going to www.zapplication.org. Deadline for submissions is January 15, 2010. This competitive show is limited to approximately 100 exhibitors chosen by a jury. We recommend that you apply EARLY as most categories will fill quickly.
